A runner softens the longest, most-walked surface in any home — and turns a transitional space into a designed one. The right length is critical: leave 6-12 inches of floor visible at each end of the runner, with even margins on the sides. Standard widths are 2 to 3 ft; we make custom lengths in any dimension you need.
For hallways and corridors, choose pure wool or wool-cotton blends — they handle constant foot traffic without flattening, and busy patterns (Persian, kilim, geometric) hide everyday dirt elegantly. Avoid silk and viscose for this application.
