Persian rug designs are the gold standard of the carpet world — central medallions framed by intricate floral borders, all-over botanical fields, hunting scenes, gardens, and stylised geometric vase patterns. Our Persian-style collection is hand-knotted in Bhadohi using the same Senneh and Ghiordes knot techniques that have produced the great Iranian carpets for centuries.
We weave classic designs inspired by Tabriz, Kashan, Isfahan, Heriz and Qum traditions, in pure wool or wool-and-silk blends. Every piece is fully custom on request — choose your size, colour palette and motif scale.
No — they are inspired by Persian design tradition but hand-knotted in Bhadohi, India. We use the same knotting techniques, but at significantly more accessible pricing than authentic Iranian imports.
Persian designs typically feature central medallions and stylised floral fields. Mughal designs (developed in 16th-century India) emphasise naturalistic gardens, prayer arches and dense floral repeats. We weave both.
