At Ajaypee Carpets, we take immense care in packaging and delivering your handcrafted rugs. Our shipping process is designed to ensure your items arrive safely and efficiently.
Rugs are generally shipped rolled. Depending on the dimensions of larger pieces, they may need to be folded for transport. Any resulting folds or creases are temporary and will naturally relax within a few days of laying the carpet flat.
We want you to love your Ajaypee Carpets. If you are not entirely satisfied with your standard purchase, we are here to help. We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products, as well as exchanges.
We accept returns and exchanges on standard (non-custom) items within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in new or slightly used condition.
Since custom carpets are explicitly woven to your exact color, size, and design specifications, all custom and made-to-order carpets are strictly final sale. They cannot be returned or exchanged.
If your carpet arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the damage to the packaging and the rug itself. We will arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund accordingly.
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, your refund will be processed within 2 days.

Please note that all Ajaypee carpets are meticulously handcrafted by artisans rather than mass-produced by machines. Because of this, slight variations in size (up to 3%), color, and design are intrinsic to the handmade process. These are not flaws, but rather the unique signature of the weaver. Furthermore, while we try to display product colors as accurately as possible, the colors you see will depend on your monitor, and we cannot guarantee exact color replication.
